The artist bases the concept of ‘powerism’ on the metaphor of street play played by children. In this metaphor, the tomato boxes represent power. Boxes represent the noise of the powers in the noise they make by moving. The boxes that are interactively placed in the space are detecting human movement and start to move. They symbolically represent today’s ‘powerism’. Foucault evaluates the changing understanding of the power of our time with the Panopticon metaphor, a designed structure.
